“From my
initial telephone conversation to the actual practical sessions, working
with Funky First Aid at
Hungerford
Primary School could not have been easier. Holly listened very carefully to
our training needs and devised three training programmes that suited our
requirements. She maintained a professional manner at all times and adjusted
her delivery according to her audience whether it was Midday Assistants,
Teachers or children in school. Her friendly and approachable attitude put
everyone at ease from the start and she ensured that the delivery was well
paced with a good balance of practical and theoretical activities. I would
not hesitate in recommending Funky First Aid Training to others.”

"Holly and
myself met up prior to the training of the 60 Year 11 Btec students. Holly
wanted to know every detail about the course and the expectations that were
required from her in terms of the delivery of what was required. Holly came
back with a professional presentation of both theory and practical content
which meant that every student who completed the training was accommodated
for. The training that Holly did with the students also allowed us to
complete Witness Statement sheets for the Btec course. Holly was very
professional with the students, being polite and patient with them at all
times. The handbook that Holly handed out has also been completed by every
student and has been used as evidence of another task with the unit.
I would recommend Holly to any school looking for some up-to-date
information on First Aid (as long as its not at the same time as I am
getting her in)."

"I am happy to
provide a testimonial for Funky First Aid. In September 2009 the school
bought into the services of Funky First Aid to delivered First Aid Training
to all of our pupils in Year 9 on a 4 week cycle. In addition, Holly
provided training for BTEC students 14-16 and 16-19. As a result of
her input the pupils in 14-16 and 16-19 were able to demonstrate the highest
levels of skills in their BTEC Sports and Public Services courses. The Year
9 students were taught critical skills, with reference to first aid which
could be used both within and outside the school setting.
Holly was completely reliable and always professionally prepared. She
developed a positive relationship with students and achieved some very
pleasing results. The feedback from students was positive and they
appreciated the input that she made to their learning.
I would recommend Holly without reservation. We were fortunate to have her
skills over the last

"I recently
used Funky First Aid for my school's first Aid training. We used Funky
First Aid to train our year 10 students on first aid in sport. Funky First
Aid did an exceptional job and the pupils really responded well. FFA
provided the pupils with an extensive resource pack that gave pupils
information about first aid. The work that Funky First Aid did was specific
to my requirements and allowed my students to pass some BTEC assessments.
This was great for us to have a fully trained first aid assessor doing the
work and sharing her expertise with the pupils. Holly spent time with me
beforehand discussing our expectations and aims from the session and really
tailored a great event for us and the pupils. Funky First Aid used practical
examples that were easy to relate to and this was great for the pupils
understanding. Would highly recommend the use of her company"
